So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. The villiage and anyone that knew him will surely miss him. No matter where you seen Jim he always had that big smile on his face. Don and I were both shocked and saddened to hear about Jim’s sudden passing. I am so sorry to know you are all going through such a horribly sad time right now. I will miss Jim’s big booming laugh, with his head thrown back, and that huge smile of his. He always made me laugh every time I saw him, and never went past at the store without stopping to make my day, He will be greatly missed by a lot of people.

Please accept our deepest sympathy at your loss of husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jim was such a friendly guy who always had a smile on his face. He loved to attend our suppers at the United church and was always asking questions of those who worked there, or chatting with the visitors or reminiscing with a friend. I even remember his days as a dog catcher and how we laughingly teased him that we had scared all the dogs away by telling them he was coming. He was a great guy. I know he has suffered immensely this last winter and spring. Hopefully it will be of some comfort to you to know that he is at peace now. I hope your many memories of great times together and family times and fun times help to ease your grief a bit each day. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless each of you.
