After a valiant battle, John passed away peacefully, at LHSC-University Hospital, London on Saturday, October 18, 2014 of London, and formerly of Lucan in his 56th year. Beloved husband of Charmaine Young. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Frank of Fort McMurray, AB, Ely and Mike Errey of Chatham, Jim and Monique of Goderich, Andy and Tracy of Lucan, and Christina Pont (Scott 2013) of London. John will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents John and Enid McIlhargey.
A funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 32922 Richmond Street, Lucan on Saturday, November 1st at 11 AM with Father Dariusz Lewandowski, C.S.M.A. officiating.
Donations to the London Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of this dear old friend of mine. John and I shared many good times together. Frank, I still clearly remember the day I first met you and John at the Lucan Pool.
Remember the good times, they will see you through.

I am sorry to hear about John’s passing. I hung out with him many years ago. I never forgot him. I never will. John was a gentle man.
