McCURDY: Raymond Earl of Exeter, and formerly of Usborne Township

Peacefully, at the Exeter Villa, on Thursday, May 7, 2015, of Exeter and formerly of Usborne Township, in his 94th year. Survived by his brother Robert (Margery) McCurdy of Exeter. Predeceased by his parents Milton and Elizabeth McCurdy, and by his sister Dorothy (1958). Ray farmed in Usborne Township all his life – moving to Exeter in 1998. He was a director of the Usborne Hibbert Mutual Fire Insurance, for 25 years, retiring in 1985.
A graveside service will be held at the Kirkton Union Cemetery, Kirkton on Saturday, May 9th at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. A reception will follow at the Kirkton Recreation Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Thames Road/Elimville United Church, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
