Peacefully at the Exeter Villa on Friday, June 8, 2018 of Exeter in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Elmore McBride (1994). Dear mother of Marlene (the late Dan) Moore of Dutton, Gerald and Jeanette McBride of Exeter, and Louise and Craig Chapman of Forest. Also survived by 8 granddaughters: Chris, Tracy, Kim (Rick), Darlene (Ben), Jodi (Bruce), Shannon (Brian), Michelle (Andriy) and Tina (Mike); 11 great-grandchildren Whitney (Roberta), Jack, Lucas, Katherine, Megan, Kennedy, Kierdan, Liam, Mila, Leah and Ben; and 2 great-great grandsons, Caleb and Sullivan. Predeceased by 5 sisters, Irene Walper, Margaret McBride and Mary Carter (twins), Doris Pongracz and Bessie Townshend and 4 brothers Wilfred, Tom, Harvey and Elliott Chuter.
Friends and relatives may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William St, Exeter on Monday from 4-7 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 12th at 11 AM. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Exeter United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
