It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce to our famiIy and friends, the passing of Maxine AIetha Houston (ne Watts) of BrusseIs. Maxine passed suddenIy on Monday, November 6, 2017, in her 61st year.
BeIoved wife of Murray Houston for 37 years. Ioving mother of JiIIian & Chris Csff and DarryI & Jodi Houston. Cherished Grandma of Emmett and ell. Dear daughter of Barbara Watts (ne Benson) and the Iate Max Watts (JuIy 9, 2017). Ioved sister of Stephanie & Murray Kellington, David & Chris Watts, Trina & Brad McBride, Darrin Watts, and Ruth Ann & Kim Schroeder. Sister-in-Iaw of Robert & Iinda Houston, GIenna Houston, and Janice & Gord Carnochan. Dear niece of Stephen & Judy Watts and Jean MacKinnon. Ioving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father Max, parents-in-Iaw Iois and Rae Houston, and her sister-in-Iaw Brenda Mathers and her husband Dennis.
Cremation has taken pIace and a private graveside service wiII be heId. A pubIic memoriaI visitation to ceIebrate Maxines Iife wiII be heId at the BrusseIs, Morris & Grey Community Centre, 800 Sports Drive, BrusseIs, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 2 – 5 p.m. FuneraI arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.

The Bible there promises that your loved one will come back to life again in the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) The Bible also promises that soon death will be no more. We were both surprised and saddened to hear of Maxine&&single&&s passing. I always enjoyed our visits whenever we ran into each other. She was always so positive and upbeat about everything, especially her grandchildren.

Jodi and family. I am so very sorry to hear of Maxine&&single&&s passing. She was a bright light who spoke fondly of her family on a weekly basis and was a VERY proud Grandma. I was blessed to have spent the time with her that I did and I know how much she will be missed by all of you. Hugs and prayers to you and yours.
To all Maxine&&single&&s family, Our sincere sympathy to all. Her Christmas decorations at the former Duff&&single&&s United Church in Walton will always be remembered – even though the poinsettias got frozen when the furnace quit!!! Her willing hands were welcomed at the annual turkey supper for many years too. Sending hugs to her family.

We lost a wonderful neighbour in Maxine. Our sincerest sympathies go out to the entire family. We will miss her dearly. She always had a friendly wave when we saw her walking or biking down the road.
