We are so incredibly sad to hear of Dusty’s passing.

As neighbours we moved in to our new homes at the same time.

Our young kiddos and renos kept us very busy at the beginning, but this past spring we had started to get to know Dusty and Shae a little better and had looked forward to being able to share a property line and quite a few beers for many future years to come.

We had not known our new neighbour long but the first thing we noticed about Dusty was how much of an incredibly hard worker he was and how he seemed to know how to do just about anything that involved his hands.

We had already asked him for advice on several things that we had yet to learn and he didn’t hesitate for a second before offering his help with any of it.

We also could not have been bigger fans of the great tunes always coming from their backyard anytime he was working away or celebrating that the work was done. It always kept the kids dancing and us bopping along with it.

This neighborhood on the hill will not be the same without him.
