At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, June 11, 2009 Margaret June (Ward) Dougherty of Exeter, born June 25, 1934 passed away in her 75th year. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Dougherty for 52 years. Dear mother of Michael and Kim Dougherty of Toronto and Shannon Dougherty and Vic Cangiano of London. Dear grandmother of Madeline and Bridget Dougherty. Dear sister of Raymond and Violet Ward of Moncton, N.B., Honey and Bob McFarland of Halifax, Geraldine Wheaton of Elk Grove, California, Glenn and Pauline Ward, Ann Marie and Elwyn Tower, Bruce and Kathy Ward, Deanne Ward and Judy and Raymond Duncan all of Sackville, N.B. and Michael and Melanie Ward of Calgary. Dear sister-in-law of Harry and Barbara Dougherty of Exeter, Helen Anthony of Brighton and Jane and Ted Kibby of Oshawa. Predeceased by her parents Raymond Ward and Frances Crossman and a brother-in-law Bliss Wheaton. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday, June 15th at 11 AM with Pastor Doug Watson officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
