Many fond memories as neighbours in Granton, the grocery store, and later I enjoyed catching up with stories of family and friends when Isabel serviced her vehicle at Eric Campbell Ford where I was and still work as the Service Advisor/Manager. It is difficult to lose that one person that truly connects the limbs of the family tree. Lean on each other and smile as you recall the legacy she has left behind in all of you. Growing up in Granton in the 60’s and early 70’s I remember your parents well from my visits as a young kid to their store, and as being Ferne’s parents. They were always kind and greeted you with smiles. It would be many years later when I recognized them on the street while in St. Marys with my mother Gail, to see those smiles again while reminiscing. They were both positive role models in our small community.
