Suddenly at Stratford Hospital on Wednesday November 2, 2022 of Seaforth and formerly of Victoria, BC and Kitchener at the age of 64. Remembered by his son Will Maelitz; and grandchildren Noah and Nicholas. Dear brother of Christa Eckert and Carol Maelitz. Missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed will be missed by many friends. Predeceased by parents Herta and Alfred Maelitz and brother-in-law Bob Eckert.
In keeping with Ed’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Ed was a great guy and a great mechanic he was always happy and willing to help and the most honest and genuine person. You couldn’t leave his shop without him showing you the old parts as a testament to his honesty. You will be missed Ed.
