Peacefully at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Dalrymple, formerly Dietz) MacElmon (April 25, 2018). Loving father of Robin MacElmon of Edmonton, Kelly Miller (Dan) of Kitchener, and step-father of Gary Dietz of Cambridge. Cherished grandpa of Keri Morgan, Sean Morgan (Krista), Bryan Miller (Danielle), Rebecca Burns (Scott), Jennifer Thornton (Brad), Jonathan Dietz, Rob Steele (Kate), Jen Steele (Mike Farwell), and great-grandpa of many. Predeceased by his parents James and Christina (Perrin) MacElmon, step-daughter Linda Carter, and step-daughter-in-law Barb Dietz.
The funeral service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, SEAFORTH on Wednesday, September 30th at 11 AM with Pastor Laura Sauder officiating. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP to attend the service as space is limited. Please click “Register Now” below to register.

Gary, Robin, Kelly & families. My sincere sympathy expressed to all of you. Uncle Art was a special man. I enjoyed our coffee times (usually every Saturday) at the donut shop with Mom, Dorothy and Art and whoever else happen to come along. He always had something funny to tell us. Many good memories.
To all of Art’s family and friends my sincere sympathy. Art and Dorothy were great friends of my mom and aunt and enjoyed many good times together. Both were a well known pair on the Main St. of Seaforth and in the coffee shops. I am sure Art and Dorothy and looking down upon us now. Rest in peace Art.
