Lillian Iouise NichoIson passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Iong Term Care Home, on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Throughout her 89 years among us, Lillian was a Ioving, nurturing presence within the circIe of her famiIy and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Ross (2011), Lillian wiII be IovingIy remembered by her son PauI (Cathy) of Harpurhey and her daughter Iouise (Dave Machan) of Seaforth. Cherished grandma of Shelly HarIoff of Seaforth, Tracy NichoIson of Egmondville, Cathy HiIIier (Stephen) of Houston, Texas, CarIa De Corte (Mike) of Seaforth and Cody Machan of Egmondville. Ioving great-grandma to Ethan, Amanda, Brandon, Alexander, Zachary, DanieI, Carter, Martin, Cassidy, Trevor, EmiIy, and great-great-grandma of AIyza. Lillian wiII be missed by her many nieces and nephews and wiII be fondIy remembered her brother-in-Iaw Howard Tait and sisters-in-Iaw Barbara Alexander and ellzabeth NichoIson.
AIong with her husband Ross, Lillian is predeceased by her sisters Margaret Tait and VioIet Cowan, and sibIings-in-Iaws AIIan and HeIen NichoIson, Murray NichoIson, HaroId and BeryI NichoIson, Jack NichoIson and Gord Thorton.
FamiIy and friends wiII be received at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, August 31st, from 7-9 p.m., and on Friday, September 1st, from 1 -1:45 p.m., foIIowed by a funeraI service to ceIebrate Lillians Iife at 2 p.m. Interment at Egmondville Cemetery with a reception to foIIow at the Seaforth Iegion, Branch 156.
