Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father and grandfather. I worked with Dr. Carey in the early University Hospital days until his retirement. He was a fine man and a great radiologist.

Rick and Bonnie and your extended family, we are deeply saddened by the news of your father’s passing. We sincerely hope there is a measure of comfort in the legacies that he worked to build over a lifetime and in the joy he took in his dreams and schemes–from telehealth to the Carey Arboretum. Our prayers and wishes go with you.
I was sad to learn of Lew’s death. I was a member of the group of radiology residents that started training the summer he arrived as Chairman in London. All of us passed our exams on the first go and owe a debt to him. Please accept my condolences on your loss.
