Peacefully with her family by her side, at her home in Lucan on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Robert “Bob” Latta (2015). Dear mother of Jim and Lorna Latta of Grand Bend, Joanne and Larry Glavin of Crediton, Don and Sue Latta of London, Doug and Joanne Latta of Lucan. Also missed by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mary will be fondly remembered by the entire Latta family and her long-time friends and her children’s godparents Betty Kirkham and the late Herb Kirkham. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Furness and brother Alvin Huffmon.
Mary’s family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at VON, Southwest LHIN, and the palliative care team.
A private family funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21st at 11 AM with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your own home. Stream the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ailsa Craig and Area Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
