KINSMAN: Robert Wallace “Bob” formerly of Tuckersmith Township

January 2, 2024 By Haskett Funeral Homes 74 Condolences

KINSMAN: Robert Wallace “Bob” formerly of Tuckersmith Township

Peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home in Zurich, in his 90th year, Bob left us to join Frances his wife (2022) and Bill his son (1983) whom he dearly missed. Survived by his three sons, John (Karen, 2011), Dwight & Faye, Lyle & Julie, and by his grandchildren all of whom he was so very proud of, Michelle & Blake, Richard & Lindsay, Jeff, Andrew & Jess, Jacob & Lindsay, Daniel & Hailey, Luke & Kelly, Alissa & Jon, Molly & Ian, Josie & Tim, and Sydney & Zak. Also his 30 great-grandchildren, of which he could name them all. Survived by his only remaining brother-in-law, Keith Hern (Dorothy, 2022). Predeceased by his parents Earl & Eliza and his brother and sisters, Mary Kinsman, Jack & Elaine Kinsman and Leita & Russell Ferguson. Also predeceased by Frances’ parents Ross & Florence Hern. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, treasured protege Harold and Ruthanne) Jaques and many close friends. Next to Bob’s love of being with family was his love for farming, especially his love for animals and the livestock industry and the many people he encountered over the years in the cattle and sheep business. Life led Bob down many paths, some of which were not his choosing, but wherever he went, he made the most of the people they were surrounded by and lived by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Bob’s family would like to thank Dr. Hammond and the amazing staff at Blue Water Rest home for their kind and compassionate care of mom and dad while they made their home with them.

A private family interment will take place at the McTaggart Cemetery in the spring. Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER entrusted with arrangements.

If desired, donations to the Blue Water Rest Home or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
