At Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig on December 26, 2009, formerly of Lucan in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Albert (Bert) Thompson (2008). Dear mother of Cheryl of Burlington. Dear grandmother of Adam, Bradley and Stacey and Steve and great-grandmother of Lucas. Predeceased by a sister Barbara Blaser.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Monday 12:30 – 1:30 PM where a memorial service will be held on Monday, January 4th at 1:30 PM with Rev. Kathy Wreford officiating. Interment Elmdale Cemetery, St. Thomas.
In lieu of flowers donations to Lucan United Church would be appreciated by the family.

My sincere sympathy to you and your family. When I lived in Lucan I sang with Kay in the United Church Choir. Your mom was a beautiful singer and she sang many solo parts. I still remember
fun times especially at choir practise.
Please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of your mother and grandma. Bert and Kay were a great couple, and vbe missed by all that knew them.
