Suddenly, at CKHA-Sydenham Hospital, Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, of Port Lambton and formerly of Lucan in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Elmer B. Joyce (2002). Dear mother of Bruce Joyce of Denfield, Bonnie and Brian Bellaire of Dashwood, Carol and Mike Newman of Port Lambton and Janet Joyce of London. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Claire Wade of Wallaceburg, Edna and Don Clarke, Bob Payne, and Marion Payne all of St. Thomas, Liz and Bruce Currie of Fordwich, Georgette and Al Campbell of Brussels, Shelley and Tim Sullivan of Dungannon, and Sharon and David Medd of Bayfield. Predeceased by her daughter Joan and her brother Bill Payne.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday evening 7-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th at 1:30 PM with Rev. Kathy Wreford officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

I am sorry for your loss, so sudden on Tuesday night. My heart goes out to Carol, especiually. You did everything you could that night, and the Lord knows that. You lovingly cared for your mom in your home these last few months. God bless you for that and may He bring comfort to all of this family.
