Peacefully at the Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in his 98th year. Loving husband of the late Margaret (Love) Jones (2003). Dear father of Ken (Anne), Brenda and the late Grant (2015). Dear grandfather of Mike (Patty), Crystal, Adam, Jeremy, and Megan. Dear step-grandfather of Cory and Shannon. Beloved great-grandfather of 4. Dear brother-in-law of Marjorie, Wayne and Sharon Love. Special uncle to Marlene, Pete, Brenda and fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Herb and Lillian, sisters Margaret and Bernard Keys, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Allan Love, Jean and Gordon Westlake, Edith and Warren Thomson, and Jim Love. Special thanks to the staff at Queensway Nursing Home and Blue Water Rest Home for their loving care over the past years.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street, Zurich on Monday evening 6-9 PM and again one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held on Tuesday, January 17 at 2PM at the Brucefield Community United Church, 10 London Road, Brucefield with Rev. Randy Banks officiating. Spring Interment Crediton Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee.
