Passed away peacefuIIy with his famiIy by his side at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Johannes WiIheImus Janmaat of Seaforth, born in Iinschoten, HoIIand, was in his 95th year.
BeIoved husband of Mary (nee van Dyk) Janmaat for 62 years. Ioving father of Iuke (Bonnie) of Seaforth, Ken (Deb) of Seaforth, Mary Johnston (Danny) of Sarnia, John of BayfieId, Ann Cronin (Gary) of St. CoIumban, Ted (MaryAnne) of CIinton, Joan Bridge (Scott) of Wingham, Ron (colleen) of Seaforth and PauI (Iori) of AiIsa Craig. Cherished Grandpa of 26 and Great-Grandpa of 16. John wiII aIso be missed by his extended famiIy members on the Janmaat and the van Dyk sides, both here in Canada and in HoIIand.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, December 22nd from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian BuriaI Ied by Fr. Brian Mccoll wiII be heId at St. James CathoIic Church in Seaforth, on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. A reception wiII immediateIy foIIow at the Seaforth & District Community Centre and interment wiII take pIace at St. James CathoIic Cemetery in the spring.
