Joanne Marie (McAuliffe) Cooke on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at L.H.S.C, Westminster Campus.  A superb mother, wife, friend and sister, Joanne passed away quietly in the company of her family after an epic battle with cancer.  She lit up the life of, and will be sadly missed by her husband Larry, her children Kate at home and Michael Dalgleish and his wife Tracy, Dan and Robin Cooke, all of London, and her sister Patricia and Bill Clarke of Greely.  She will be fondly remembered by her great friends Andy, Jill and Claire Tully of St. Thomas, Phyllis Dalgleish of Thunder Bay, Mary Dalgleish of Ilderton, Marge and Jim Cooke of St. Thomas, and Jay and Donna Cooke of Port Stanley.  Joanne was an employee for Canada Post for 28 years and recently was a carrier in North London.  No visitation.  A private family service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday, August 20^th, 2008 with the Rev. Greg Little officiating.  Cremation to follow.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
