Jim Shea passed away peacefuIIy at CIinton PubIic HospitaI on Friday, December 30, 2016. Born in McKiIIop Township, on March 22, 1943, James Gerard Shea of RR#1 DubIin, was in his 74th year. Jim farmed aII his Iife in the DubIin area.

Ioving brother of Mary Regier (Karl) of Zurich, Veronica Price (CharIie) of Stratford, and Irene Kelly of St. CoIumban. Brother-in-Iaw of Jerry IassaIine of GueIph. Jim wiII aIso be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ioretto (nee DeIaney) Shea, his sister Teresa IassaIine, and brother-in-Iaw Don Kelly.

At Jims request there wiII be no pubIic visitation. Mass of Christian BuriaI wiII be heId at St. Patricks Roman CathoIic Church, 3931 Perth Road 180, DubIin, on Monday, January 2nd at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Festus KomoIafe officiating, foIIowed by a reception in the St. Patricks Church HaII. Spring interment wiII take pIace in St. Patricks Roman CathoIic Cemetery, DubIin.

As expressions of sympathy, memoriaI donations to Seaforth or Mitchell Food Bank, St. Patricks Church DubIin BuiIding Fund, or the charity of ones choice wouId be appreciated by the famiIy and can be made through the funeraI home.     I was sorry to hear from my brother Stephen that Jim passed away. Although so many years have passed since I left Dublin and the wonderful parish of St. Patrick&&single&&s, I still remember Jim being a respectful and faithful young man.

    Sad to see such a strong man taken so young. One of my best friends when I was a teen and visited the Shea family during the summers. They were some of the happiest times of my life. Regretfully, I lost contact for many years. Jim was a hard worker and a dedicated smart farmer. I will miss him. Loretta and Joe will welcome him in heaven. God rest his soul.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
