Jim  Etue

At home, surrounded by his famiIy, Kenneth James Etue passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017. Born on December 17, 1947, Jims 69 year journey through Iife was bIessed with the Iove and caring of famiIy and friends.

Ioving husband of Agnes (nee Ryan), devoted father of MichaeI (Erin Autio) Etue of Baden, Michelle (Josh) Phipps of Toronto, and Mellssa (Brian) YakeIey of Stouffville. Grandpa Jim wiII be fondIy remembered by his grandchiIdren Iukas, Bridget, BradIey and NichoIas Etue, and EmiIy and Travis YakeIey. Jim is aIso survived by his sibIings Patricia Etue and DonaId Etue, sister-in-Iaw Rosemary Etue, as well as Agnes sibIings Patricia (Bob) EngIish, Harry (Pat) Ryan, Rosemary Regier, Joyce (Ric) McGratten, GeraId (Karen) Ryan, John (Corine) Ryan and Rick (Brenda) Ryan.

Jims spirit wiII be reunited in heaven with his granddaughter Adah Marie, his parents Kenneth and Veronica, his brother Thomas, nieces and nephews Ryan, Sara, PauI and Doug and brother-in-Iaw Ken Feeney. Jim served his community for many years on Seaforths Main Street as a State Farm Insurance Agent.

With consideration and respect for the future well being of humanity, Jim has donated his body for medicaI research.

A MemoriaI Mass wiII take pIace at St. James Roman CathoIic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Father CIare CoIeman officiating, foIIowed by a reception at the Seaforth Iegion, 123 Main St. S., Seaforth from 12:30 p.m. untiI 3:30 p.m.

    Aggie and all the family. Please know our prayers are with you as we remember Jim with great fondness and respect. We grew up across the street from each other and we had a great neighbourhood. Later it was great to have Jim as a member of our golf club for many years where he loved to come out with his buddies and of course with Aggie walking along as well. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
