Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Elaine (Sreenan) Jeffrey for 58 years. Cherished dad of Denise and Jim Dietrich, Leeanne Regier and John Maisonville, and Nicole and Sean Thomas. Adored Pépé of Derek, Stephanie and Seth, Jon-Lucas and Amanda; Erica, Zoey, Marissa, Mikayla, Mya; Scott, Jordyn, and Old- Pépé to Caleb, Dean, and Jaxson. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Evelyn Jeffrey, Sarah Jeffrey, Linda and Joe Denomme, John and Lesley Jeffrey, Theresa Burr, Cathy and Brad Gregus, Michael and Sharon Jeffrey, Jeannette and Brayden Whilsmith, Robert Jeffrey, Dennis and Sheila Jeffrey, Martha and Ken Mungar, Cathy Shephard, and Paul Denomme and Lynn Ferwerda. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Dominique and Dolly (Siemon) Jeffrey, parents-in-law Russell and Kathleen (Durand) Sreenan, infant-sister Monica, brothers Ray Jeffrey, and Charles Jeffrey, sister-in-law Madeline Denomme, brother-in-law Roger Shephard, and his nieces and nephews Derek Denomme, Andre Jeffrey, Suzanne Jeffrey, and Jodi Rose.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street North, ZURICH on Tuesday, February 27th from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM.
Patrick’s Funeral Mass will be held the following day on Wednesday, February 28th at 11 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 73309 Bluewater Hwy, Zurich. Cremation to follow with interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations towards London Regional Cancer Program or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Despite the time that has gone by, both you and Pat have remained in my heart and in my mind. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had you both in my life throughout my childhood; introducing me to life-long friends and allowing me to make memories that still continue to bring a smile to my face. As one of the many kids that Pat and Elaine took in through the 90s and early 00s, I feel like I’m echoing the sentiment of all of us when I say we all were so lucky to have had such salt of the earth folk taking care of us as we grew up. We were always treated like we were one of the family, and they guided us all via their good nature to be kind and fair to one another.
Beyond the life lessons learned, personally, I won’t forget the moments with Pat as he came home from work, to enjoy a non-alcoholic beer and some chopped cucumber to decompress.
I send nothing but love and condolences to Elaine, his children, the many grandkids I befriended, and all the other friends and family. Take care, cherish and celebrate the memories, he was one of a kind and a great man.
