Sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. She was one wonderful kind lady with a heart as big as the world. We spent many evenings growing up with her and Jerry, always an open door and a few drinks and lunch after. We will miss her.

Condolence from Brian and Margaret Childs on February 19th, 2012 7:46 PM

Butter tarts, Chili sauce and all the baking will be missed and explain why I am so muscular today. Say hello to Mom!

Condolence from Bill and Cathy Rogers on February 20th, 2012 6:49 AM

Our deepest sympathies. Jean will always be very special in our hearts. She made everyone feel welcome, opened her heart and home to all. Her excessive kindness, her concerns about family and friends went above and beyond. She will leave a definite void in the hearts of all who have had the honour to be part of her life. We were truly blessed to have had her part of our lives, thank you Jean.

Hello Karen and family,
Just a note to extend our sympathy on the passing of your Mom. She and your Dad were great friends of my parents, Stu and Lil McLellan and we had many fun times over the years together.
She always remembered me with cards on special occasions, and was always such a gracious and kind lady to me. I will rmember her with great fondness.

Dear Karen
My deepest sympathies to you at this sad time. What a great lady!. How fortunate you were to have Jean as your mother and how fortunate she was to have such a loving ,kind daughter.
I was always in awe of the great care you gave your Mom. If she ever needed anything you would jump in your car and scoot down the 401 to her as if it was just around the block!
Odd how life is, I was going to contact you wondering about Jean last week when I happened to pass your parents’ home on Mendip Cresc…I had not been that way in years.
I am unable to come to the funeral service tomorrow but my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Please know that you were one of the best daughters that a mother could have had.
Warmest regards

Jean and Jerry Lindsay were 2 of the finest people I ever had the privilege of knowing in my life. In the big winter storm of 77-78 they took us into their home and gave us a place of refuge.
Wonderful people.

Hello Bob & Karen

I’ve been thinking of your Mom lately and did a little digging to find this memorial to her….which is lovely. I’m sorry for your loss.

I have quite a few fond memories of Jean…not sure if you remember me or not, I was one of her respite caregivers. I always enjoyed my time in your home and spent with Jean.

Hope all is well.

Regards,

Wendy
