My first memory of Ray is still the same today as it was so many years ago…he was the nicest, ‘gentle’ man I knew.
Marina, Thinking of you at this time of loss, may all the special memories bring comfort during this difficult time, V e ra
Dear Marina, Steve & Joanne, Sue & Mike and families;
Please accept our deepest sympathy, but saying that seems so little to say at a time like this. We will miss Ray dearly. He was a kind, quiet, gentle person who liked to listen, to joke, to tease and to chat with everyone. That smile always appeared on his face, no matter what was going on. He was interested in our families, our lives, the work of the church and community. Ray was a hard worker in his earlier years and he established a good tradition for his family to copy. He enjoyed his Sunday “after church” MacDonald’s coffee and gossip sessions, as well as many other social times in Exeter. We never heard Ray complain. That was just the type of person he was. For many years he took my mother and mother-in-law to church and has continued taking my mother-in-law to church up until two weeks ago. We have appreciated that so much. Marina and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.
Remembering Uncle Ray for the kind, gentle, fun loving person I remember all through my childhood till the present.
Marina my thoughts are with you and the whole family at this very sad time.

Dear Marina, Steve & Joanne, Sue & Mike and families,
Ray was always such a quiet, dignified and “gentle-man”, and we were lucky to have him as our neighbour for so many years. He was always there to help at Zion West Church no matter what was happening, and he was just such a well respected and loving Husband, Dad & Grandpa that thought the world of his family. All those who knew and loved Ray will mourn his loss, but he will never be forgotten. Our family extends our loving thoughts and sympathy to you all at this very sad time.
Dear Marina , Steve & Joanne, Sue & Mike, Travis & Rachel, Ashlyn & Mike, Eric & Anj & Evan.

Dear Marina, Steven, Susan and your families
My heart is heavy this morning, as Brenda has informed me that Ray has died.
As far back as I can remember, Ray and your family where a constant presence in the family farm life we all shared, but more important to me, are the memories I have of Ray attending our country church at Zion. He was so dedicated and so supportive of all things connected to Zion.
Ray was such a great neighbor and steadfast friend of Mom and Dad. So many steps in life you all took together.
He was just a wonderful man. So full of kindness and niceness to all of us, and I am feeling sad today because just like Dad, that kind of man has left us, but I am also feeling grateful to have know him for as long as I have.
He will be missed.
My heartfelt sympathy to you Marina.
I will be praying and thinking of you all.
Love,
Nancy Price(Hern)
