    Jo-ann and Mike:
I was linked to this site while researching contact information for former classmates regarding a 40th reunion of our class next June.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.
Mike, I hope you don’t find this method of contacting you too intrusive and I do apologize. Again, condolences to you and your family.
    Sincerely,
    Bonnie Stanton Bryan

    Dear Jo-ann and Michael,
I just came across this site, this evening of Oct.23rd, while doing research on the 1st Hussars and Uncle Ronny. I was shocked. Please accept our deepest condolences. We had heard Aunt Isobelle had Alzheimers disease and now we feel bad for not staying in touch. I guess that’s what happens when we all get older and other things in life seem to take up our time. I’ll never forget Isobelles wonderful smile and contagious laugh. She will be missed.
    Take care,
    Ken and Wendy

To know Isobelle was to love her. She was such a gracious and yet fun loving person with a wonderful smile that would light up a room when she walked in. It was a sad day when she decided to move away from here and go to Exeter to be closer to family. I missed all the great times we had sitting on her deck or our porch, drinking coffee and chatting about life in general. It was equally sad when it was discovered that she had alzheimers and had to be put in a home for her own safety. When visiting her at the villa, and later in Hensall, she was always upbeat and happy to have company. I will always treasure the times we spent together and hope that you all have equally good memories to help you through the difficult days. Rest in Peace Izzy. !

    Our sincere condolences
    Pat and Ben

Jo-ann and Gary: I was so sorry to hear of the death of Isabel. Even though she suffered from dementia, we had wonderful conversations in the time when she was in the Villa, the hospital in Exeter and later at Queensway. She was such a gracious person and I always enjoyed my time with her. I was amazed, throughout her illness, at how much she remembered of her childhood and siblings growing up in Toronto. I join with others to express my sympathy and she will be included in our prayers of thanksgiving for a life well lived this Sunday.
Dorothy Henderson, Minister, Caven Presbyterian Church, Exeter
