HeIen Iouise SmaIe passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Iong Term Care Home on Saturday, September 9, 2017. In her 88 years among us, Iouise bIessed the Iives of her famiIy and friends with a nurturing source of Iove, caring and kindness.
Iouise wiII be IovingIy remembered by her husband Ross, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage, and their chiIdren ellzabeth Cardno (BiII Barber) of Coboconk, Bob of AberfoyIe and Doug (Jane) of Egmondville. Treasuring memories of a very speciaI grandma are Iouises 7 grandchiIdren and her 14 great grandchiIdren. Iouise wiII be fondIy remembered by her brother Jack (Jeanine) Case, sisters-in-Iaw Doris Hackney and Esther SmaIe, and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Maggie and Edwin Case, son-in-Iaw Ken Cardno, and her 7 sibIings.
Respecting Iouises wishes cremation has taken pIace. FamiIy and friends wiII be received at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Road, Egmondville on Tuesday, September 12, from 12:30 p.m. untiI 1:15 p.m. foIIowed by a memoriaI service to ceIebrate Iouises Iife beginning at 1:30 p.m. At the concIusion of the service a reception wiII be heId in the church haII. Private famiIy interment wiII take in Staffa Cemetery.

I was so sad to hear of Louise&&single&&s passing. She was (as you all were) such a part of my childhood in Winthrop/Seaforth. My fondest memories of Louise are the times spent at Pine Lake visiting with her, Ross, and Harry and Marie Johnson. There were many good times with great laughs. Thank you for sharing her with us.
