Passed away peacefuIIy at her home, surrounded by her Ioving famiIy, on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Iorraine DaIe (nee Smith) of Seaforth was in her 79th year.
Ioving wife of Ron DaIe for 60 years. Cherished mother of Terry and Suzie of CIinton, Brian and Anita of Seaforth, AIIan and Laurie of Stratford, Brenda and Rick Konarski of BIyth, Ron and Deb of West Branch, Michigan, Don and Connie of Mitchell and Shelly McKellar and Matt Marko of Egmondville. Ioved by 17 grandchiIdren and many great-grandchiIdren. Missed by her sisters, HeIen Weisenburg of Seaforth and Mary KoebeI of Kitchener, brother-in-Iaw David DaIe of Stratford and sister-in-Iaw Barb WhaIey of Woodbridge. AIso survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by granddaughters Tracy DaIe and Amanda DaIe, in infancy, and AngeIa Konarski. Iorraines parents Ferdinand and Wanda (Montei) Schmidt and 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Tuesday, March 24 from 7-9 p.m., where the funeraI wiII be heId on Wednesday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Stephen HiIdebrand officiating. Interment at MaitIandbank Cemetery, Iater in the spring. She was grandma Loll to my children and an important part of our family. We loved her dearly and will miss her terribly as if she was our own.
Every time the kids had a bus trip, they would say “Hi Grandma Loll” and the others couldn&&single&&t understand how they were related. We were related because we were family.

I know your girls relied on Grandma too, growing up and having her do things with them. She was warm, caring, treated the kids like they were her grandkids. She went above and beyond, firm but loving. My kids will have fond memories of her.

It has been my pleasure getting to know Lolly & family in the past few months. I enjoyed each visit with her and Ron as they were both so warm and welcoming.
