Our deepest sympathies to the whole Mitchell Family. We miss living across from Lloyd & Edna – such fond memories of being their neighbours. Helping them – and they in turn helping us. Lots of great game nights and tastes of maple syrup and their homemade wine was one of those life moments of enjoyment. We so loved and appreciated their friendship to us and our girls when they were so very small. Edna would love to look after the girls for me for a couple of hours – helping them to read and I know the girls loved being able to learn and grow with their big beautiful garden. Thanks for the memories – our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Miss you Lloyd and Edna . . .

To the Mitchell Families: You are in my prayers. I have many fond memories of living across the street from Lloyd and Edna in Egmondville and the wonderful gardens they grew. They worked so hard! Lloyd borrowed syrup pails from Rod and always gave us a generous taste of the most delicious syrup. I know your wonderful memories will guide you throught the journey ahead. Joyce Doig

    Lorna and Family
My deepest sympathy to you in the passing of your father, grandfather, and great-grand father. Llyod was a special man to each and everyone of you, treasure the memories, as they will always be with you.
It was a pleasure looking after him in the Nursing Home, and hearing of his past, and the stories he would tell. I will miss our evening walks before he would go to bed. Again my deepest sympathy.

Edna cared for our children many many years ago in Seaforth. They loved having her in our house but also enjoyed the many hours spent in Edna and Lloyd&&single&&s home too. Lloyd was always interested in whatever they were doing and shared his interests with them too. We miss those days and send our condolences to Lloyd and Edna&&single&&s families.
