I was so sorry to hear of the passing of my grandma. She was such a kind soul and I have so many fond memories of her as a child.
She always had a smile for me and asked what I’d been doing since our last visit. She bandaged me up plenty at the farm, but I always felt safe knowing I was in good hands. Grandma was an amazing cook too, but my favourite was a peanut butter and honey sandwich……with extra honey lumps, which she always did for me. My condolences to my mom and three aunts. Cousins uncles, father and sister. I love you all.

Grandma, thank you for letting us create our childhood memories on the farm.
You made the best peanut butter and honey sandwiches.
You kept the barn cats happy so that we could play with them.
You looked after our frostbite when we stayed out tobogganing too long.

You met Fraser when we all travelled to Graham’s wedding together.
You thought he was quite the gentleman for taking your arm up and down the stairs.
At the bed and breakfast, the hosts thought you were from London, England. We all went along with it… Weather’s ok, flight wasn’t too bad. Would you like some tea?
It was so nice to watch the humming birds with you on that trip.

Thank you for being Grandma. xo
