Howard Roy Heckendorn

At London Health Sciences Centre, South Street Campus on Sunday, January 18, 2004 Howard Roy Heckendorn of London and formerly of Kitchener in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Colleen (Brock) Heckendorn. Dear father of Kim and Dale Van Allen, Kevin and Lotus Why, Duane and Lynda, Brock and Shaun all of London. Dear grandfather of Dana and Nick Van Allen;  Katya, Graham and Erika; and Randy Bross.  Dear son of Theo Heckendorn of Parry Sound. Predeceased by his father Nelson. Howard is past president of The Canadian Disc Jockey Association.  He contributed to the community as a hockey, football and baseball coach.  His life passions and career involved nature, landscaping, music, woodcarving and family. Thanks to all medical personnel, friends and neighbours who have helped our husband and father throughout his illnesses.  A special thanks to Dr. Leslie and ICU staff Lillian and Nancy for your professional and sensitive support of Dad and his family. Friends may call at The Church of St. Jude, 1537 Adelaide St., N. at Fanshawe Park Rd. London on Tuesday 4-8 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21st at 1:30 PM with The Rev. Phillip Uptgrove officiating. Cremation.
