At St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Saturday, November 23, 2013 in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Heather Holland of Cambridge. Dear father of Jonathan and Simara and David and Johnel. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and David Craig of British Columbia, Robert and Alicia Holland of Manitoba, Pat and Rita Holland and Kathy and Bill Lovie all of London and Ken and Marie Holland of Lucan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service at Living Hope Church (formerly Lucan Revival Centre), 120 Main Street, Lucan on Friday, November 29th at 2PM, with Pastor Brad Sumner officiating. Cremation with interment at St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.

John was a wonderful friend when we were kids. His quiet, kind, happy ways were such fun. He was quick with a joke and laugh and always willing to lend a hand. A truly great friend to have.

My condolences at this difficult time. Many years have passed since John and I were young boys hanging out together in Lucan but I still have fond memories of those days. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the memorial but please know that the Holland family are in my thoughts .

My sincere condolences to all of John’s family at this time. I have many fond memories of good times having fun with John in our younger days back in Lucan growing up. I remember the lengthy chats we shared often to and from school with lots of laughter.

John was a reliable trucker who would make sure his vehicle was
cleaned after returning at end of week. Last few years here he always had his Jack Russel terrior with him. Ed, Grace, Nic Wiersma. Paul Edworthy. Doug Metzger
