HOELSCHER: Bruce of Seaforth

Peacefully at Seaforth Hospital on November 30, 2022, of Seaforth in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Carol (Carter) for 58 years. Cherished father of Wendy Reid (Dan) of Hensall, and Jeff Hoelscher (Tina) of Woodstock. Special Poppa of Amber Parsons (Rob), Melissa Reid, Katelyn Reid, Owen Hoelscher, Hailey Hoelscher. Dear brother of Loraine Herbst of Nepean. Missed by the Carter family and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Florence (Thomson) and John Hoelscher, brother Gerald Hoelscher (Glenda), infant brother, and brother-in-law Phillip Herbst.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family funeral will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1PM. The family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your home. Stream the service live or at your convenience by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh.

Donations to the First Presbyterian Church or Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

    Dear Carol and family,
    We were shocked to hear of Bruce’s passing. We had a wonderful conversation with him one beautiful, sunny afternoon, less than a month ago. I know now we will treasure that. Bruce’s sense of humour and the sparkle in his eye were there that day! We have wonderful poker memories of both Bruce and Carol, which include lots of laughs and bluffing. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
