Unexpectedly at home with his wife by his side, on Thursday, January 2, 2020 of Lucan, at the age of 74. Cherished husband of Judith Lois (Grier) Hodgins for 52 years. Loved father of Art and Carole Hodgins, and Lori and Mark Hickson all of Lucan. Proud Papa of Codi, Matthew, and Julia. Dear brother of Shirley Hutchison of Dorchester. Don will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Art and Dorothy (Woods) Hodgins, brother Walter Hodgins, and brother-in-law Bill Hutchison.
Don was a proud member and steamfitter with the UA Local 593 for 55 years, serving as president, agent, and manager. He loved to spend time golfing, gardening, and most of all, with his friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Saturday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM, where a Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Sunday, January 5th at 11 AM.
Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Our paths crossed at Parkwood in 2017 and Don left a lasting impression with both of us. His laughter was contagious and Rod & Don misbehaving (as much as they could!!) was pretty comical!!
