At the Exeter Villa on Saturday, January 19, 2013 of RR  4 Denfield in his 95th yr. Beloved husband of the late Esther (Gilbert) Hodgins (1999). Dear father of Evelyn Mask of New Hamburg and father-in-law of Sharon Hodgins of RR 4 Denfield.  Dear grandfather of Gary and Kim Hodgins of Stratford. Dear great-grandfather of Kalie, Andrew and Jack. Dear brother of Ilene Desjardine of Exeter. Predeceased by his son Lloyd (2003), sister Merna O’Neil, and brothers-in-law Leland Desjardine and Joe O’Neil.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the complete funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd at 11AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Birr Anglican Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

    Harold will be greatly missed. We had many years of fun together. Trips to Florida and going on cruises. He was a wonderful man and friend. The memories will always remain in my heart. He was dearly loved.

    Due to the weather we have decided to not venture out today, however we want you to be aware of our thoughts and the fact that we certainly planned to see you in person.
    I have missed him at a euchreama for some time now. We had some nice visits when he came.

    Was sorry to hear of Harold’s ( my boyfriend) passing…..We met him playing cards at the Malibu and he was such a joy to play cards with ,,,,,He had such a sense of humour….We will miss him.Keep his memory close and he will not be far away!!

    We got to know Harold very well when he was in Exeter hospital in the same room as my father in law, and he was a real delight to sit and talk to. He had a great sense of humour, and he always looked forward to seeing us when we visited my father in law.
    May he rest in peace, and may God grant comfort to his family

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
