Peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 7, 2023 of RR1 Kirkton at the age of 83. Cherished companion of the late Edwin Shute (2020) for over 31 years. Much loved mother of Jeff and Shellie Hockey, Jan and the late Doug Cooper, and Danny Hockey and Suzan Parrott – Hockey. Adoring grandmother of Mike Hockey (Brittney), Curtis Hockey, Kaylin Hockey; Amber Cooper, Carson Cooper (Christina Ford); Luke Hockey (Jessica Giacomazzi), Adam Hockey (Tinisha Zenner), Jayda, Denver, Sadie, and Dayton and great-grandmother of Jaxon, Owen, Chloe, Steven, Isabella, Oliver, Aiden and Everleigh. Dear sister and sister-in-law of George and Sue Wilson, Sandy Wilson, and Wanda McIntyre. Predeceased by her parents Les and Davina (Adams) Wilson, brothers George ‘Mac’ McIntyre and Ken Wilson and a sister Diana.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Wednesday, January 18h from 7 – 9 PM. Registration is required and appreciated. Please click “Register Now” below, to register. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 19that 11AM. Betty’s spring interment will be held at the Kirkton Union Cemetery on Saturday, May 6th at 2PM.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
