Peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig on Thursday, March 28, 2019 Ruth was called to join her late husband Alan Hill (March 7, 2019) at the age of 93. Dear mother of Elizabeth and Bill McHugh of Ailsa Craig, Nancy and Bob Thompson of Burlington, Dave and Karen Hill of Essex, and Susan Hill of Burlington. Dear grandmother of Laurie (Jeff); Jordan and Brandon. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alan and Liz Scott of Lucan and sister-in-law of Edythe Scott of RR 3 Ailsa Craig. Predeceased by her parents Erwin and Alice (Stewart) Scott, brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Ann Scott, and brother Donald Scott.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Haskett Funeral Home, LUCAN entrusted with arrangements. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
If desired, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
