HEWITT: Larry of Lucan

Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the age of 72. Cherished husband and best friend of Kitty (MacArthur) Hewitt for over 52 years. Proud dad of Chris Hewitt (Laura) of Guelph, and Nicole Chambers (Aaron) of Lucan. Adored grandpa of Luke, Jacquie, Katie, and Ben. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bob and Judy Hewitt, Bonnie Robertson, Brian and Nancy Hewitt, Rick and Sandy Hewitt, and Lois and Rob Blake. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Mabel (Guest) Hewitt, sister Bev Ross, and parents-in-law Angus and Ina (Eckensweller) MacArthur.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at the home of Larry and Kitty, 33340 Richmond Street, Lucan on Saturday, June 22nd from 2 – 4 PM.

Donations to Saint Elizabeth Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Larry has been a wonderful neighbour and friend for many years. We have so many lovely memories of horseshoe competitions, celebrations, and catering together. Larry always had a friendly smile and we shared a lot of good times as well.. Truly a great guy. So sad the Lord took him so soon. He will be missed,
