At LHSC – University Hospital, London on Saturday, March 21, 2015 of Exeter in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Mabel (Selves) Hern for 60 years. Dear father and father -in-law of Linda and John Wuerth, and Fred and Michelle Hern all of Exeter and Rob and Cheryl Hern of Kilworth. Dear grandfather of Rebecca and Mike Sarvis, Sarah and Jeremy Geoffrey, and Amanda Wuerth; Tiffany, Melanie and Jacquelyn Hern; Brooke and Gavin Hern; and great-grandfather of Payton, Harper, Lucas and Callie. Dear brother-in-law of Helen Webber of Exeter. Bob’s brother Harry also passed away March 21, 2015. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Clarice Hern and brother-in-law Lee Webber.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, one west of Main, Exeter on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 11AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. Interment Zion Cemetery.
Donations to Zion United Church or South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Please accept our sincere condolences in the passing of a loving husband and dear Dad , Grandpa and Great Grandpa. Bob was such a wonderful, kind and gentle man with a memorable little chuckle we won’t forget. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time of loss. Harry has lost a dear brother and the rest of his family and community will remember Bob always.

Our deepest sympathies. We are out of the country and just learned of the passing of Bob and Harry. I have many positive memories of the leadership of Bob in the community, particularly in the 4H Club. He will be missed.
I would like to pass my condolences on to all! Bob was a great man with a big smile. He was a quiet mannered and always loved to talk and know what was going on. I had many conversations with him about 4-h and dairy cows. He loved life and his family! I’m glad his brother Harry is accompanying him on his journey as they were always close.
