Peacefully at the Exeter Villa on Saturday, December 23, 2023 of Exeter and formerly of Usborne Township at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Phillip Hern (1998). Dear mother of Brian and Dianne Hern of Stratford, Kathy and Gary Simpson of Exeter, Jan McKeown of Georgetown, Kevin and Kim Hern of Georgetown, Greg Hern and Krista Turner of Calgary. Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Gary Hern (2010), son-in-law Bill McKeown (2021). A celebration of Leona’s life will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 1-3 PM with words of remembrance at 2 PM.
