I am deeply sorry for your loss. To say the least, I have many memories over the past 40 years of visiting Canada: sharing meals, fellowship, special occasions and just hanging out with both family members and church members. Lots of laughs and stories / testimonies to no end. Not to mention the Bible school days with James, Judith and David – 1977. One could share for a long time of legacy of 95 years of living life to the fullest! Sharing the gospel of Jesus to so many people, even when it wasn’t convenient. Only heaven will reveal ripple effect of June’s life laid down for the benefit of others. May God comfort your hearts during this time! May the testimony of her life spur you on to the call that God has on your life!
To both of us June Henry was a Giant in the Faith. She exemplified living passionately for Jesus while joyfully serving others. She was a Spiritual Mother and Grandmother to many. She loved our family like her own. In every sense of the word she was a Blessed Woman! All heaven rejoices today as they welcome her home! Our heart felt prayers are with the family at this time. Many memories of June….as a young girl going to her place for 4H meetings….spending the night and eating breakfast (best cook) ever…driving me to Cambridge to go to YWAM, Sunday night youth at their house….church potlucks….the list goes on. She opened up her home, she made everyone feel important, her faith was unwavering and she loved and welcomed all. Many of us were deeply touched by her presence.
Love to her family!

First of all, to Bruce, Judy, James and Meagan, and your families, I send my deepest condolences. Thank you for sharing your beloved mother with me and so many others.
I was blessed to meet June 30 years ago this spring. She quickly became a spiritual mother to me. She mentored me for many years. We attended several conferences together and spent many countless hours praying together. Wow could she pray! She taught me to make pickles, jam and many other delicious treats! I still have some of her recipes! Some of my favourite memories with June include seeing her in the kitchen at LCRC, always serving and making food for some event. Also the Blossom Tea! She always looked so pretty and even wore a beautiful corsage on one of her lovely dresses. The time she and Bruce came to visit us right after we moved to Winnipeg, I was so homesick, the Lord sent her out to me to give me the love to make it through the first fews months. Last summer my husband and I stopped by to see her. I wondered if it would be the last time, this side of heaven that I would see her. Precious June, you left a legacy as big as the sea, and like the waves, reached countless people. I love you forever xoxo
June was an incredible woman of God. She was always quick to offer prayer as well as a cup of coffee or a meal. Spent many an afternoon at her and Bruces farm enjoying their hospitality. Condolences to Judi, James and Meagan.

Dear Family:
Wow , no words can say how much your mom meant to me. She was a spiritual mother, grandmother and every kind of mother I needed as a young teenager coming into LRC. June taught me everything I know in Hospitality and was not only a teacher for me in prayer but covered is in prayer through our years as missionaries. She was an incredible woman. She has left behind an amazing family of which we still love much. Our hearts are with you Judith, James and Meagan and your families. Love to you all.
