Dear Aunt Marilyn, Eric, Mark, and Matt and Families,
We’ve been thinking and praying for you for many months, Uncle Hank has always been one of my favorite uncles, I have always enjoyed his sense of humor, and admired his drive to honor and serve God. He was a good and faithful servant! A vessel and instrument that God used to further His kingdom! He will be missed, but now, he gets to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father! Praying for you in the months to come as you mourn his presence. “May the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles” be with you. (II Corinthians 1:3)
    Love, Laura, Aron and family

  18. Dorothy Henderson Minister Caven Presbyterian Church

    January 24, 2011 at 9:50 AM

Although I personally have never met Hank, we regularly, at our church (Caven Presbyterian) prayed for him and for Marilyn, and in the later months as Hank became more and more ill, we prayed that Hank might know the reassuring presence of God. Eric has made such a wonderful contribution to the musical ministry of our church and we are saddened, for him, at the loss of a father. No matter how old we are or how “prepared” we are or how deep is our faith, it is always a hard, hard time to lose a father. We send along deep and sincere sympathy.
