At South Huron Hospital, Exeter, surrounded by the love of his wife and 3 children, on Thursday, June 29, 2017 of Zurich in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Haberer) Heimrich. Dear father of Laurie and Phil Erb of Zurich, Mark and Julie Heimrich of Exeter, and Dave and Wendy Heimrich of Bayfield. Dear grandfather of Stephanie, Ashley, and Colin; Sarah, Scott, Spencer; Ashley, Lauren, Tamara, and Courtney. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Audrey and Fred Haberer of Zurich, and Ruth Stevenson of London. Predeceased by his parents Rev. Edward and Irene Heimrich, his father and mother-in-law Karl and Helen Haberer, stepmother Pearl (Foerster) Heimrich and brother-in-law Milo Stevenson.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street North, Zurich on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral service will be held at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 22 Goshen St. S., Zurich on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11 AM with Pastor Nadine Schroeder-Kranz officiating. Interment St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Zurich.
Donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or South Huron Hospital Foundation – Jessica’s House would be appreciated by the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you after hearing Ron has passed away. Memories of growing up at St. Peter’s Lutheran, in Zurich come to mind. Especially when you and Ron lead the Junior Choir. Those were fun days! Am sorry I will be unable to be with the family during this time but send our sympathy.
