In the arms of her loving parents, Rebecca passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 after 8 cherished days with her in our lives. Precious daughter of Anthony and Lillian (Whyburd) Hartman. Goddaughter of Timothy and Mary Beth Hartman. Dear granddaughter of Tom and Jasia Hartman of Zurich, and Paul and Teresa Whyburd of Calgary, Alberta. Rebecca was a deeply loved niece and cousin to a very large and caring family.
Visitation will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 144 Huron Street, NEW HAMBURG on Saturday, July 22nd from 9 – 10:30 AM, where Rebecca’s Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery on the Bronson Line, Zurich.

When I first met your family your faith was such an inspiration to me. I have such fond memories of spending a week with Ms. Lillian as she witnessed my 4th child learning to walk. Your beautiful daughter Rebecca is filled with grace and the beatific vision of Our Lord and Lady. Mary will hold your beautiful daughter in her arms until you can meet again, God willing, in heaven.
