    Audrey
Our sincere condolences to you and your family in the loss of Ham.
I would like to think he has looked up his old neighbour Gord by now and they are comparing notes over all that has happened in the 10 years if has been since they have seen each other as neighbours over the fence or over a coffee! That brings me comfort and some day it will do the same for you. God bless.

When I think of Mr Hamilton, I get a smile on my face, as he always brought the teaser out on me. I have waited on him in the store, and our paths have crossed a few times – he was a “gem” who just had that way of making the sun shine the day that we would meet.

My sympathy, prayers and love go out to his family. I will enjoy his little black heritage book more now.

    Sincerely,
    Catherine Swance,
    Innovative Flooring, Exeter.

Dear Audrey, Berton and the rest of the family. Please accept our most profound condolences and sincere apologies for not been able to get to see you and the family during the wake and the funeral. We have had house guests with us this whole week and have been called to be the perfect host and hostess for the occasion.
We really enjoyed any time that we ever had with Hamilton, whether it be on the street or any time that we were in his company. He had a good sense of humour and enjoyed a good tale either telling it himself or listening to it. He was of a grand old age, but like all good things you do not want to see them go. We celebrate his life and it gives us wonderful memories.
It is said that finding comfort is not in the forgetting, but in the remembering. Hamilton has given us so many good memories and we treasure his life and will remember the smile and warmth with which he always greeted us. He will be missed.
Blessings to you all. You are in our prayers and love.
    Bruce and Pat

In today’s world we are able to read this news in Northern Europe but in Hamilton’s world he had a wealth of history knowledge that was just as important as what we have learned in the past few days. He has left a legacy that will long be remembered by his family but the community he cared for.

    Thinking of you,
    Bill & Sue
