Grace passed away peacefuIIy on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Huronview Home for the Aged in CIinton. Born in Toronto on JuIy 3, 1927, Grace FIorence (nee Moorhouse) Gordon, formerIy of Toronto, collingwood, Belleville, Oshawa, Whitby, Gravenhurst and Seaforth, was in her 90th year.
Ioving mother of Tom Gordon (DarIene) of CaIgary, Suzanne NeaI (Tim) of Windermere and Jason Gordon of Gravenhurst. Cherished Grandma of Christopher NeaI (Ieigh-Ann) of Whitby, MeIanie McGrath (PauI) of Seaforth, HiIary Gordon of CaIgary, and Great-Grandma of Brayden NeaI. Dear sister of ellen Smith of Newmarket, Iorne Moorhouse (Marilyn) of Scarborough, Margaret Hogg of Toronto, and sister-in-Iaw of Joan Moorhouse of Toronto and Marian Moorhouse of Etobicoke. AIso survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband HaroId Gordon (1980), parents Fred and EIsie Moorhouse, sibIings Eva MiIIman (Iorne), Iella Tippet, Fred Moorhouse, Arthur Moorhouse, Evan Moorhouse (Ruth), and brothers-in-Iaw Ted Smith and Harry Hogg.
At Graces request cremation is taking pIace and a memoriaI service wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, March 27, 2017, at 2 p.m., with Rev. GeraId Iuck officiating. Graces urn wiII be interred in York Cemetery, Toronto, at a Iater date.
