I remember how much I used to enjoy watching Jack play hockey. He played the game with a fascinating mixture of ferocity, skill and creativity. And off the ice he was profoundly gentle and soft spoken. Someone who thought before he spoke.

Although I was happy to learn of his thoughtfulness as I read other condolence messages, it still troubles me that he left his family and friends at much too young an age. And will be deeply missed.
