Peacefully, with family by her side, after a short and courageous battle with cancer, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London on February 26, 2018 of RR 1 Crediton, in her 67th year. Cherished wife of Mike Glavin for 47 years. Loving mother of Rob, Brad, Jason and Ester, and Adam and Suzanne. Devoted grandmother of Leah. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ruth and Doug Kingsbury, Marion Leyten and Rob Holden, Eleanor and Jim Weigand, Susan and David Voigt, Tom and Jane, Jim and Nathalie, Gerry and June, Larry and Joanne, Mary-Angela and Pete Rutten, Theresa and Bob Parsons, Jack and Deb, Joe and Patricia, Eugene and Millie, Maureen and Morley Thompson, Dave, Dennis, Anne and Pete Roelands and Donna and Dan Masfrankc. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Wilma Bullock, twin brother Barry, brother-in-law Ron Leyten, mother and father in-law John G. and Leona Glavin, brother-in-law Edward Glavin, and sister-in-law Judy Glavin. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to Annie, Cynthia and the team at St. Elizabeth – because of their care Betty was able to remain in her home until her final hours.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Prayers will be said in the funeral home at 4:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 69219 Bronson Line, South Huron (Mount Carmel), on Friday, March 2 at 11 AM, Father Len Desjardins, Presiding. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Donations to South Huron Hospital Foundation or the Huron County Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee.
