GLANVILLE: Les of Seaforth

April 29, 2021 By Haskett Funeral Homes 73 Condolences

GLANVILLE: Les of Seaforth

Les passed away peacefully at his home on April 26, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Dolores Beuerman, and cherished Father of Doris (Lyle) Hood of Seaforth, Veronica (Steve) Stevenson of Bayfield, and the late John Leslie Glanville (1981). Beloved Grumpa of William (Sarah), Wyatt (Kayla) and Leah.

Predeceased by his wife Catherine (2017), his son John (1981), his brother Lloyd (2021) and sister Joyce in infancy.

Les was a dedicated family man, who loved his community. He had a great sense of humour and a smile you couldn’t help but return. Les never forgot a kindness and always paid it forward. He was generous in love and spirit.

Les will be deeply missed and always remembered by his siblings Alex (Gail) of Saskatchewan, Ken (Betty) of RR#4 Walton, Lorne (Bonnie) of RR#4 Walton, Roy (Karleen) of Rostock, Marj (Richard) Horst of Harpurhey, Eileen Duncan (Eric McGregor) of Seaforth, Marleen (Don) Hill of Brussels, Arthur (Jackie) of Saskatchewan and sister-in-law Mabel (Lloyd) of Brussels.

Also remembering Les always are sister-in-laws Evelyn of Egmondville, Annette (Brent) of London, Mary Ellen Williamson of Thorndale, Janet Zimmer of British Columbia, Frances (Peter Kling), Bonnie (Denis Beuerman) and brother-in-law Jack Doyle of Toronto.

Les will also be missed by his step-children Barry (Liva) of Alberta, Justine (Chris) of Thunder Bay, Spencer (Shayla & Milo) of Thunder Bay, Phil and Glen.

Cremation has taken place. At Les’s request, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Les’s life is being planned for early summer, as provincial restrictions allow. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Homes, Seaforth (519-527-1390).

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, ONECARE or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
