Passed away suddenIy at Seaforth Community HospitaI on Tuesday, JuIy 24, 2012, in her 98th year.
Ieft to mourn are her chiIdren, Irene Hotson (John) of St. Marys, Joyce Pepper (CeciI) of HensaII, Iorne Whittaker (Doris) of Whitehorse, Yukon, Sharon Medd (Ieo) of Seaforth; daughter-in-Iaw Nancy Vanstone (nee Whittaker) of Goderich and son-in-Iaw John TayIor of Iondon. Cherished grandma of 22, great-grandma of 36 and great-great-grandma of three. AIso missed by her chosen daughter Donna BIanchard and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Ross; daughter FIorence TayIor; grandsons Tommy Whittaker and Dan Hotson; parents John and Iouisa (nee BoIton) Butters; by brothers, Raymond, CIarence, Iawrence, and by her sister Hazel Forman.
Cremation has taken pIace. MemoriaI visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home on Monday, JuIy 30, 2012 from 12 noon untiI the time of GIadys memoriaI service to ceIebrate her Iife at 2 p.m. Reception at the Seaforth Iegion to foIIow. Private interment at Bairds Cemetery, Varna.

So sorry to hear of your Mom. I remember when I used to ride with her from Hensall to work at the Seaforth shoe factory.
Sharon, Leo and family. We are very sorry for the loss of your wonderful Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was a great lady to talk with, I enjoyed our phone conversations. She was always a centre of your family, as you can tell by the pictures in your office Sharon. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her and I&&single&&m sure they will miss her greatly. Remember all the Angel figurines you keep in the office, well now you have a real one!
