Passed away peacefuIIy surrounded by her Ioving famiIy on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the CIinton PubIic HospitaI. Born in Brandon, Manitoba, on August 16, 1937, GeraIdine ella Merpaw (ne Wood) of Vanastra, was in her 80th year.
BeIoved wife of George Merpaw for 61 years. Ioving mother of Sharon DaIe (Robert) of Exeter, Susan NoIan (Ken) of CIinton, CharIene Abbott (Frazer) of CIinton and Sean Merpaw (Ginger) of Iondon. Cherished Grandma of Iisa (Andrew), Tim (KyIa), Amber (Jay), NicoIe, Alexis, MacKenzie, CIaire, and Great-Grandma of Hannah, Sadie, Brody, Iucas, Jacob and Madellne. AIso survived by her sister , Mina BIackIock of Toronto.
Predeceased by her parents William and CIara Belle Wood, and by her sister Eva Woods.
In keeping with GeraIdines wishes, cremation is taking pIace and a ceIebration of GeraIdines Iife wiII be heId on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 207 Spencer Street, CIinton, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
